UPDATE: The drive was a success! Thank you so much to everyone who participated!
Head, Johnson & Kachigian, P.C., in connection with the American Intellectual Property Law Association, is hosting a clothing and toy drive for the Henry Zarrow Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at The Children’s Hospital at Saint Francis in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The NICU at The Children’s Hospital at Saint Francis is a 58 bed Level IV NICU serving nearly 850 newborns and their families annually from Oklahoma and neighboring states. NICU patients are babies born prematurely or with an illness or condition that requires the highest level of care. Babies may stay in the NICU for days, weeks, or even months. As the mother of premature twins who spent their first couple months in the NICU, I know what an important milestone it is for your baby to be well enough to get to wear clothes. Donations make it possible for the NICU to provide such clothes, as well as toys as the babies develop. These comforts help ease a difficult time for the babies and their families.
We will be collecting new clothes and toys for NICU patients, with an emphasis on the following items:
Preemie, Newborn, and 0-3 Month Sleepers (particularly those with snaps rather than zippers)
Rattles
Mobiles (all plastic, no cloth)
Crib gyms
Infant musical and light/sound toys
Shape sorters, Pop-Up toys, Toddler balls
We will also be accepting monetary donations, which we will use to purchase additional items to donate. Donations may be mailed or may be made in person daily from December 5th through December 9th between 8:00 and 5:00 at:
Head, Johnson & Kachigian, P.C.228 West 17th PlaceTulsa, Oklahoma 74119
Please also invite your friends, family, and colleagues to participate. Together, we can help improve the lives of the smallest patients and their families!
